104-1 has jocks

Listening to 104.1 today and I've heard 2 different on-air staff, one female and one male. I really hope the station is getting off the ground, it's good to have some more variety on the radio around here.

WRFF in Philly (almost identical) is getting quite a bit of praise. Why not so around here?

CC in Baltimore just flipped their smooth jazz station to alternative. Maybe the format does have a future again :)

The music is OK with this station, but it desparately need some personality. Granted, it'll never be like the original Radio 104, especially between 1996 and 1998. Sigh! :(

good to hear jocks on the radio. are they VTracked?

I'd bet money on it. This is CC Hartford after all.

Sounds voicetracked to me. Nothing to get excited about, just the new PD recording liners and placing them in between songs. Still cheap.

Either way it's great to have 104 back. I just wish they threw in some new stuff every now and then.

Agreed. The liners may sound cheap, but after listening to Kiss 95.7, the production doesn't sound so bad.

Clear Channel actually had WKSS-FM sounding better a year and change some time ago. What the hell happened? Every other song they play sounds like it's being played on equipment you'd find at a college radio station. Clearly this station is living off of their heritage calls and little else.
