So I heard once the sale is done, Coyote Country 1043 will move to 1027 and NOW will be gone..... any truth to this???? I think Coyote Country should take over 963 KKLZ, since we all know 971 the point is the classic rock station in vegas, IMHO!!!

The PD for 104.3 NOW will be Joshua Fleming from Ed's station in Palm Springs KRCK.

One other thing... what's the point of a contest telling people to be caller 12 when they hear the change if you're going to tell everyone exactly when the change is happening??RadioStarOne said:They're also having a contest. The first one to hear the change and call in and be caller number 12 wins a trip to see and meet Taylor Swift. So tell everyone you know to call in at 3 PM!
Just checked the 104.3 Now site, and their stream is down. Their old site at 1027now.fm finally redirects to their new one at 1043now.com and both sites now reflect the new frequencies. The Coyote also changed their logo... it looks kind of like the Wolf branded country stations. The Now stream is still playing off of the Coyote's site... with country filler in between... and it's now 3 hours after the swap. What are they doing?? Not a good way to start out!!sfradio said:the now stream is annoying, there is country crap filler happening when the station is supposed to be commercial free
vegastrance said:Nice to see the new Now 104.3 lean mainstream as they are playing songs that 102.7 wouldn't play such as Boys Like Girls, Taylor Swift, Linkin Park, Fray, Michael Franti etc...great!!!!!!!!

Of course this also impacts KLUC. They were having success being the most pop of the three rhythmics. Now all of the sudden they are positioned between HOT and NOW. My guess is they won't react at first, but will eventually add some big pop songs they would have sat out on if NOW didn't play them.
This should help HOT as they are now by far the only real rhythmic/hip hop station in the market. They could use the boost to offset the disadvantage they will be at when Urban unfriendly PPM starts.
