WXXY was mainstream 80's but played a few dance mixes on Saturday nights late in their existence, on Party Planet.
I think you can have both co-exist and make audiences happy.
You have to consider, CHR listeners of the late 70's were exposed to disco mixes. CHR listeners of the mid to early 90's were attacked with weekend dance mixes especially in bigger cities.
So Jack being late 70s to early 90s heavy, weekend dance night shows would be a good specialty show to attract more listeners. Same with possible New Wave and Rock shows. <P ID="signature">______________
