104.3 or 93.3 to fill CR void?

Maybe a dumb question here but would Infiniti or Emmis flip one of their "frequency wastes" to a rock station to fill the classic rock and rock void in this town? I am virtually certain that the relatively small market of Austin cannot support two hip hop stations.

doupt it as long as it pays I dont see how it is, but more than likely it wont. I would like to see something diffrent in this town unstead of the same playlists over and over again.

Yeah its a real shame isn't it. Hard to believe that I still follow the rapidly deteriorating radio dial in Austin when I have XM radio. Boy is terrestrial radio in trouble. I believe it will be all but gone in 10-20 years.
