104.5 KRVQ back on the air

Apparently, 104.5 KRVQ from Lake Isabella has been off the air since 2016.
Within the past day or two, they have started broadcasting again. They describe their format as "timeless rock".

It is a 200 watt signal from 5,341'asl (1,260'haat). I can't comment on the local coverage up in the mountains, but here in Bakersfield, reception seemed to be better west of the 99 freeway.

I stand corrected. Usually I'm very observant about what's on the dial, but I swear in my four years in Bakersfield I've never received this station before. And I rarely travel to the KRV.

Perhaps there was a weather related reason pushing the signal a little further than usual today? West of the 99, it was coming clearly, even with RDS info.

they maye have gotten back up to full power... if they were only running a few dozen watts (only 10 percent of ;;licensed power) using a smaller then usual antenna system (2 bays vs 4 or 6 that theyre licensed for) that would explain why youve never heard them
