Every time I go to the South Bay (e.g. Manhattan Beach, Hawthorne, etc.) and tune my car radio to 104.7 FM, I hear a talk station. It broadcasts in mono, and I have heard no top-of-the-hour IDs on it. Any ideas as to what this is? Is it a pirate?
About 10 years ago, there was some sort of conspiracy theory program called "Radio Free America" or some such on 104.7. It faded in and out along with the other pirates (and KCAQ out of Oxnard) on that same frequency.
Are they still out there? (Haven't driven through the South Bay in some time....)
