What is 104.7 KHSB in Kingsland TX playing? They kept submitting remain silent authority notifications because of economic reasons. They now have a CP that will increase their coverage, so hopefully this helps them...
I went through the area in December and it was off the air. Two months before that in late October it was broadcasting random music, (country and oldies) with a legal ID probably recorded by their owner or engineer. What I found strange though was the station was broadcasting this song and the legal ID guy was repeating the words as they were sung... Strange! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=83L9k6T6Y6w

I don't think they upgraded yet, but I heard it on a month ago. It's Christian talk now I guess they decided to provide programming from somewhere else. Smart!

They have to transmit at least once in a 12 month period to keep the license...even if they keep filing STAs..STAs are good for six months..and yes you can file renewals but silent ones only go so far...with out a signal on the air at least once during the 12 month allowed time, the license gets deleted.

I haven't been out to Llano/Marble Falls in a while, but I did hear KHSB mentioned in KTXW's (1120 AM) top of the hour ID in the past week.
