Was listening to Fort Smith radio Tuesday night, 104.7, when I heard
Level 42's "Something About You" on about 9:50.
Thought something was wrong since that is a hit from the 80's and not a format fit.
Heard two knuckleheads backsell it ...... I didn't catch their names, they didn't give their calls and just rambled on for a few minutes about the bass player for Level 42....
Then went into a Laura Branagan song ....
It was bad radio to say the least. Thought It might be pirate radio until they ended their show saying to listen NEXT Tuesday from 7-10.
Does the Fort Smith Radio Group let just anyone rent out their airwaves for this junk? I know they are a dollar a hollah ... but geez. Maybe they will let just anyone one jump on for a fee.
It made Happy Larry sound like Casey Kasem !
