104.7 nyc

So are any other stations planning to relocate to 1WTC now that it shows how well a 99 watt directional signal can travel. Imagine how a full power 3300 watt station would do (excepting for some in-building penetration issues in the suburbs). We know some stations cannot move due to short spacing but WPAT, WNYC and WKTU should be able to go there. And here’s a stretch ... but maybe they would finally let WNSH enter NYC.

I doubt it. The height gain does not make up for the power loss, and puts stations at a level that does not penetrate apartment and office buildings in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and areas even right across the river.

There is a point where there is too much height and not enough power, and I think this one of those cases.

And by being farther south than the ESB, stations lose valuable coverage of the northern part of the MSA, and put a slightly improved signal towards counties in NJ that are not in the MSA.

Not to mention that a WTC location would put more signal out over the ocean at the expense of land to the north.
As for WNSH moving to WTC, this has been discussed elsewhere. There are issues with adjacent and co-channel stations that would likely require too many compromises to be practical.
