104.7 WALR move-in story

I remember hearing them in early '89 as Music Radio 104.7 WALR. John Wetherbee and Mark McCain were some of the jocks. Who knows the whole story of when it was sold to Smithgall and King, moved into Atlanta, had the tower issue and flipped to urban? I know the McClure family signed it on for less than a million in the late 70's and sold it for 16 million a decade later before the move-in.
