I just found this out im not sure how out of date I am with this, but i think it started in december 2007. Well Univision radio launched the Amor Celestial format, a Christian spanish station that means Celestial love. Well this happend in Los Angeles on 107.5 hd2. Do you think if Univision is going to do the same here in houston?

My props to Univision for creating this format in LA for spanish speaking christians this format would work great in Houston if you had the correct ppl managing it i know a few years aso their was a station on 1480 that did very well and i recall hearing they were doing some major city wide events!

Wouldn't it make more sense to put Reggeaton or Amor (K-Love) Back at 104.9-HD2

104.9 is CHR, and Amor was AC. It's like comparing KODA with KRBE.

No, when I talk about Amor or K-Love, I talk about (as David put it) a Spanish AC station (Or as many people like to call it, Musica Romantica). The Amor that lived at 104.9 was nothing close to Spanish AC. The name did not fit the format, it was a mistake, why do you think they droped "Amor" in favor for "Tu Musica".

Listen to Miami's WAMR, Los Angeles' KLVE, or even go back to the old "K-Love 106.5" days, those three stations are very different from Houston's "Tu Musica".

104.9 hd2 is now amor celestial.
Mhh, too bad this station's HD stream doesn't go past the beltway. I need to drive in to check it out. I really doubt anyone will listen to this station. But then again, they do have the advantage over other Christian radio station in that they won't bit** and moan for money all the time.
