104.9 The Horn applies to change antenna location

It does make sense if Border Media plans to simulcast 92.5 and 104.9 again.
The move-in of 92.5 gives them most metro coverage with 104.9 giving them the populated, high dollar subdivisions SW of Austin.

But...but...but....what do they gain in the west? Are they going after that great population center between Dripping Springs and Wimberley? ???

According to these maps, it's the most pointless move ever.

That sounds about right. One would think that the programming would have to move to another frequency as this just about finishes 104.9 north of downtown. Right now, they have problems all over the place north of Koenig/Northland/2222 and this will, of course, make that so much worse.

Maps based on FCC contour prediction methodology = fiction unreliable. Things are not always what they appear to be.
Obfuscation...obfuscation...obfuscation... Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.
The opinions of A. G. Longley and P. L. Rice might have some value here.

Alright, then maybe you could run a Longley-Rice on it and report back to us.

Weeelllllll....it looks for sure that 104.9 now sucks in Austin and is about to get worse. There's got to be a plan to move the programming somewhere else.
