104.9 WROO signal increase?

When did I Heart upgrade WROO 104.9 to a C3 at 2.8kw? Did that happen when it moved from 96.7? I thought there was an upgrade of a few watts but I thought the antenna was lowered a bit and it stayed a class A.

Definitely a better signal than it used to be on 96.7 and most of Simpsonville and Fountain Inn werent even in the 60dbu. Now Westgate Mall in Spartanburg is even inside the 60dbu, close to the edge though.

WYRD-FM 106.3 is also a C3 for comparison. A C3 is the weakest that can halfway cover such a spread out market.

Interesting. The station "Man Up!" kind of sucks (for my tastes at least) and, from my understanding was even behind X98.5 in the money demos, which isn't saying much.

I think -- especially if they gave it more power -- something else may work better on it format wise.
