104 is now available in HD

The way we listen to today's music has finally evolved. Top 40 KRBE is now broadcasting in HD. Much sooner than later I think 104's 2nd HD channel will probably be Classic Hits (From the '60s-Present). This will coincide the 35th Anniversary of this great well-respected hit music station, as it is looking forward to join the Cumulus family of stations here. My predicted playlist: "Help!" by The Beatles; "Philadelphia Freedom" by Sir Elton John; "Let's Go Crazy" by Prince; "Someday" by Mariah; and "(Look at This) Photograph" by Nickelback. I think this is what It calls "The Music of Your Life". 104 has been a part of my life for as long as I lived here. I guess this technology is moving forward as we speak.

Are you absolutely, 100% sure about that?

KRBE has digital, but weak and bounces back between digital and analog alot. Guess they're still working on it.

> I think this is the wave we are riding on now. CBS and CC will apparently carry second audio channel stations over on most of their stations here. Like CC for example: #1 Workday music station KODA will still carry its Soft AC music on its main channel; while its secular channel will feature a feed to KTRH-An AM News Station, Over at CBS, KILT-FM will still offer Country Music on its main channel, while Free-FM can be heard on SAC. I think I am completely sold on HD radio, but apparently listeners are taking their musical routes over to XM, I-Pod, and the Internet. So much looking & moving forward to in the year 2006

Here's the presumed lineup for HD2 here:

93.7 AAA - Launches January 26
94.5 Free Buzz - Launches January 26
95.7 Traditional Jazz
96.5 New Top 40 - Launches January 26
99.1 Love Songs - Launches January 26
100.3 Future Country
101.1 Spanish Oldies "La Preciosa" - Launches January 26

From a multi-market list at: http://www.radiobb.com/hd/

I would like to see Power 104 come to KRBE's HD2 channel but thats probably not likely. Since Energy came back to 96.5 that would be cool, OOH and CHR on KKBQ's HD2... I know I'm dreaming. :D
