When I was a kid back in the late 1960's early 70's KMOX was a semi regular catch here in WA, on just a decent transistor radio. In the mid and late 80's I was doing a lot of DXing the AM band, and I'm pretty sure I logged it on my boombox.
Over this past year I still haven't heard KMOX, unless it's the UNID buried behind KANN-UT in KPNW's null area.
DXing the Midwest and Plains from here is more of a challenge now, even with better equipment, because of all the additional stations. But it also presents more stations to hear, so I guess it's a trade off.
Lawwpy: KOMO is basically un-nullable at my location in W WA.
I only have one tentative logging on that frequency in 1984, and KOMO had to have been off the air; the station was HJAQ, Cartagena, Colombia.
