1045 great weekend

Glad they took a chance with the double tunes weekend, not the same MMR double shot or YSP predictable double takes, at least WRFF took a chance and played many off the wall and oh wow cuts. A reliable source told me CC is extremely satisfied with the performance of 1045, which is doing far better than any other format on the 1045 frequency since its birth...glad that this station will not go away in a long time....
 
YSP does Double takes ??? The only double takes I've heard on ysp is when Constantine Stutters on the morning show. I've always said the stations are ALL too safe...Same 'ol same ol...In order for rock stations to save themselves and stand out...you have to establish a "station sound" not follow the consultant's vision of what works in Iowa Buffalo and the other market he consults. The OHHH Wow factor has been lost a long time now. Funny that anyone would be applauding CC for being cutting edge or different, when they bare the poster boys for cookie cutter stations.
 
we all know that clear channel as well as nearly all of their stations blow. however 1045 is an exception. they do a great job, and are doing well in the area

If you all noticed, now MMR is playing this band, I never heard anything by TEB on MMR, since the birth of 1045 both YSP and MMR have been sample-ing the RFF bands....a good thing I think....
