105.1 Audio

I noticed today that the audio on 105.1 doesn't sound right. Has anyone else noticed this? It reminds me of when the audio was messed up before the switch to FM talk.

Yes this is the second time this has happened!!!It happenend shortly after christmas and now!!!

There is noone home at 105.1 no matter what the format very sad kids

I would say they care about there stations that make money like djx and b-96 but to a station that has yet to prove itself probably not.

They need to start investing in this station now. Ad a morning jock and evening jock. Your not going to make this station a success if they continue as is. No way!!!

I think they fixed the stuttering problem, but has anyone noticed the frequency response??

If you do a A, B (where A = 105.1) , an A, C, or A, D comparison with ohter stations, their high frequency response rolls off something terrible.

Not good for a new station trying to acquire new listeners.

I think it's one of the better-sounding AM's in the market........

I went through Louisville yesterday and whatever EZ Rock is using for processing is in "limit mode". This was especially noticed when they played Billy Vera and the Beaters' "At This Moment". The piano intro was lost unless you turned the volume up a bit. Considering Louisville is a loud, bass heavy market EZ Rock sounds weak. When Century Communications sold the station twenty years ago they left a Optimod 8000 as the processor. Perhaps they put that device back on the air.

Last week i heard the weather forecast that was suppose to be for that day and it was for two weeks ago!!! Wtf is going on at the air supply and manilow station???
