105.1 WTOS Buzzing background noise

on 105.1 tonight around 6:30 pm tos Had a choppy signal in a song and since then it sounds like a someone has a continuous razor on.
any idea what might be causing this?

p.s. the signal is great otherwise here in VT
 
Someone have a hair dryer on in those dorms, nearby where your receiver is plugged in ?? Could TOS have been at reduced power for a short time and you were getting splatter from "Kool 105.1" in Plattsburgh ?
 
HAHAH it came on during rush's show...
in reguards if it was something from my dorms... nope because I checked it elsewhere pluse my antenna is outside as much as possible. as some of you probably know a computer's hard drive or anything with a motor can cause interference so I avoid it at all costs.
there was no splatter at all.

I noticed the same type of noise last night round same time so you weren't the only one that heard what sounded like a hum. I also noticed on certain songs its was like one channel wasn't coming through even though the stereo light was on.
 
would it be easier to listen online right now at 68k?
it looks like tos is on a dial-up modem or if fish is smart their internet stream... any ideas?
