105.3 The Fail

Yeah and even more pronounced on the internet streams of stations. A good minute behind the actual broadcast.

What's up with KLIF not airing the news on their internet feed during the 7 AM weekday hour? They have been playing 7 or 8 minutes solid commercials until Jeff Bolton comes back on. I have to switch over to KRLD to hear the news if I listen with my internet radio. Shouldn't be a Fox thing since they air the news at other hours.

Weird.

When the Ticket had the cowboys games, they had one station timed to OTA broadcast, one for satellite, etc etc.

I guess people who like to sync up are out of luck with The Fan.

That's easy. The delay on internet streams are because of the time it takes for the signal to get to the encoder. As far as the 7 am news, it must be a glitch in the ad insertion script commands.

Has any one noticed when Cowboys games are on 105.3, that they are at least 5 to 10 seconds BEHIND TV.

105.3's signal is sync'd to Time Warner Cable, which is the local video delivery service with the most number of subscribers -- by a very large margin. The best we can do is hit the largest group of viewers.

But for the above individual, if your TV is ahead of radio, then pausing your DVR will bring you into sync (if you have a DVR).

I might try that. But its hard when you look at the HD broadcast OTA. I don't have DirecTV HD DVR.

The afternoon guys seem to talk Cowboy football all the time. However, the Tiger text Tuesday is too damn funny. OMG
