105.3 The Martini

An out-of-town question: Is this station still on the air? The Facebook page has people posting as late as January 31st but I can't find a website.

I realize it is in a "trust" blah blah blah, but I've thought that making 105.3 a soft AC, or smooth jazz leaning station would help KYIS in regards to KMGL.

I would think a real oldies format would have more mass appeal and generate more money than this really, really old format. Personally, I think it's just upper management's choice based on their own taste on a signal that doesn't affect the bottom line that much. If it "holds it's own" that's good enough for now.
