I was scanning the diaql this morning and came across 105.3 it was playing a Hatian format. They sounded professional.

Is this a piriate station?

You are kidding about IBOC. A Pirate with IBOC. NFW. A RDS encoder can for $300-$500. But IBOC exciter and liscense from Ibquity. again, NFW...

Good Station !

With the exception of radio Free allston I have never heard a Prirate station. When I think of a Prirate I think of some kid in his parents basement but this 105.3 sounded much better than WUNR or WRCA.

Doesn't matter how good it sounds. If you heard 105.3 playing Reggae/Caribbean music in the Boston area, you have heard a pirate.

"how good it sounds" is subjective at best. It is ILLEGAL - a violation of FEDERAL LAW.
They should be prosecuted to the full extent that the law allows. End of story.

A license from iBiquity? Let's remember what we're discussing here...an illegal broadcaster who is already opening thumbing his nose at federal law. You really think he's going to bother getting a license to use IBOC? So now you can add copyright infringement to his long list of violations.
