105.5 now simolcating 1540AM New Orleans

Dont know when it started but 105.5 Baton rouge is now simolcasting 1540AM out of New Orleans. Complete with DJs that talk all over the music and about 40 minutes of commercials every hour

Simucasting KGLA (spanish tropical) or Radio Disney (which is 1450am and would be about right on the 40 minutes of ads and music?!?!?!??!

If it's simucasting KGLA, what happens at night? KGLA is a daytimer only

Its the spanish tropical station on 1540AM. They are broacasting live. Are you sure 1540 is daytime only?

I"m not really sure. I have heard them say 105.5 Baton Rouge in spanish. When you go to 1540's wesite and click listen now the stream still works at night.

I was trying to see if they were streaming as they are a daytime only station with no authorization after nightfall.
There is no story found around on the BR rebroadcast.
However I don't remember if LMAs have to be filed with the FCC or not (and if they are visible on an online search)

They are live at night I just talked to them. And I found out they do a Spanish Rock show on wednesday nights that plays Spanish metal including A.N.I.M.A.L.!!!! ;D from 6-8PM.

Are you sure that it is 1540 when it's Davidson as the new owner? That would be LaFabulosa 830 that Davidson owns! I would know since I used to work in the next studio over from them when MC Media owned us both. Boy, do I miss Biz Radio!!

It's been a very long day!! I should have realized It is 1380AM that Davidson owns and will simulcast 830AM there. That's why KGLA is running on 105.5, so they can compete in both markets. Especially since I put that about 1380 last week! DUUUUHH!!!
