105.7 Going Oldies....No more sports

No I knew it for a fact like my first post said an inside source told me

KSON-AM is for sale? How much? Where is the stick located?

Well you only get half a tower and a junk yard, guess which is the most profitable?

It was actually a better performing antenna at the knocked down height than at full height. At 442' it was shunt fed at just less than 5/8 wave. I think it ended up at around 190 feet and series fed which is much closer to the 1/4 wave point. It looks funny, but it does work better. The towing yard is quite profitable by the way.

Maybe if the KSON tower would have been painted in 20 years it wouldn't have fallen down
