105.7 KOZZ in Pittsburg

Yesterday I went over Willow Pass into Bay Point, and KOZZ Reno was coming in as clear as a bell on the car radio, Is it always like that?

I have picked up that station as well as KWYL-102.9 in Stockton. Some days I can pick up Reno FM stations as well as Fresno FM Stations on other days.

This is not unusual for fall when warm air forms a signal duct that can transport radio signals hundreds and sometimes thousands of miles. Give a listen to CB radio some fall afternoon and you may hear some of those 4 watt CB signals rolling in from ... Florida.
