105.7 The Hawk question

Hello out there in radio land,

Hi,

When I listen to 105.7 The Hawk on the net, I hear a familiar music bed that is used for the traffic. The music sounds like a Mission Impossible knockoff and I have heard it used in movies, tv commercials and yes even another radio station. Can anybody tell me what the tune, themesong or whatever is called :) I like it alot and personaly I think it goes good with a traffic report.

And while we are on a WCHR thread... Is the "Free Beer and Hotwings Show" syndicated from there? I know that have steadily been adding stations as for north as NH and Michigan. A really enjoyable listen IMO...I just can't pinpoint where they broadcast from. They do give the time in EST but that really doesn't help too much.

Responders???

I think that was the case until about a year ago, when they moved to Grand Rapids and started syndicating the show back to the two Hawks in New Jersey.

I thought, and still do, that the local studios were in that big building they have in the shopping center near the Eastern end of Rt66 just before Rt35 in Neptune.

Looks Like I Perplexed the Experts...

I could swear on several different occasions that they have made reference to being in NJ. Whether or not that was at an earlier point in the show I am not sure but I do find it to be an interesting yet puzzling question at the same time

:-D

WCHR broadcasts from there - the local studio is
in Bayville. FB & HW have never broadcast from there,
they were in Princeton until they moved back home.

FB & HW have you fooled. If you are under the
illusion, then it must be working.

Yeah it must be the same way that I am "fooled" when I hear "Liner Readers" get mistaken for actual "On Air Personalities..."

Catch My Drift Tom?

Easy, sport. In Tom's defense, it did say in the AllAccess blurb that they were in fact broadcasting out of Michigan back to Jersey when they left.
