105-7 The Hawk

Well i'm not seeing a Jersey Shore board, but i thought there was one at one time.
Not sure ware to post this, but here goes.
Anyone noticed that WCHR-FM has lessened there mogulation on the chain? Sounds better to me. Wish WTHK would have done that here locally.
My DX setup makes the Hawk come in clearly in Bensalem, PA>

105.7 has a great signal in lower bucks. im an everyday levittown listener!. its a great sounding station. how much trouble did you go through to tune it in. all i need is a piece of wire. its good to see another WCHR listener in the county. do you listen in the car as well? and being that 1057 is a semi-local station, is it still DX? i dont know if it would be. probably not is my guess.

I have to turn the antenna to face south, other stations i pull in when facing this direction are:
96.9 WFPG
97.3 WSKW
92.7 WOBM
103.7 WMGM
104.9 WSJO
106.5 WBBO
98.5 WKMK
100.1 WJRZ
99.3 WGBZ?
95.1 WAYV
89.5 WKVP
89.7 WGLS
90.5 (unknown calls), Christian non-com
107.3 WPUR
92.1 WVLT

In case you are logging, 97.3 is WXKW, 99.3 is WZBZ, and the 90.5 is WVBV/Medford Lakes (the antenna is in central Atlantic County pointing right at Center City).

Note: there are two other class-A religious stations on 90.5 in Atlantic County, but WVBV is the most powerful and shooting right at you.

That's pretty good! Especially 100.1 WJRZ and 92.7 WOBM, as they both have local class B adjacents. What antenna and tuner are you using?

Yamaha T-85 Tuner, Windgard FM Only Antenna.

I also can get very staticy 99.7 WBHX
Summers let me pull in 99.9 WWFG (i even got them all day once, pretty clear stereo signal too), and 107.3 WRQX. Other summertime faves include 98.3 WTKU, 100.7 WZXL, 98.7 WCVT? (Cape May Corthouse, NJ)
okay this is starting to more look like the DX board...
What is the other 90.5 I can get? Calls itself "Today's Best Country" , lots of static. Out of Flemington, maybe?
John

Yes, WCVH 90.5 is a high school station in Flemington. It runs an automated country format with a few PSA's in between. They cover some areas where WXTU and WCTO don't reach with a decent little signal.
