105.7's signal compared to 98.9 and 107.5

If you're walking around the city with a walkman (lol, yeah I know, outdated) or an mp3 player with a digital tuner and you turn it on 98.9 or 107.5 the signals get a lot of interference, but if you put it on 105.7 the signal is as crystal clear as wnci (remember, I'm only talking in the city). The reason I find this odd is because all three (especially 98.9 and 105.7) have pretty much the same coverage, and they're all Class A signals. My question is why does 105.7 come in so well compared to 98.9/107.5? Do they have a newer style transmitter or something. Even on my clock radio 107.5 and 98.9 don't come in that well, but 105.7 comes in clear as a bell. Lol, okay, I'm rambling now. I was just curious why 105.7 has a clearer signal than 98.9/107.5 when you're in the city.

98.9 is licensed as: 2.6 kW 154. m
105.7 is licensed as: 2.4 kW 159. m
107.5 is licensed as: 1.9 kW 126. m

It might have to do with intermod maybe?. that's my best guess... having a newer transmitter or older transmitter likely would not improve/worse their signals to much (unless there was a problem and they were not broadcasting at licensed power) however not without saying .. each does have its own Antenna and transmitter and it's possible clear channel has done an amazing job at 'engineering' 105.7

98.9 comes from one of the WBNS towers..
105.7 is broadcasting off the WNCI stick on 1 Nationwide Plaza
107.5 is broadcasting from the bordens building downtown Columbus on E Broad St. (I think?)

I noticed with alot of old walkmans and clock radios is that stronger signals like to bleed all over the dial. 98.9 is inbetween big signals 97.9 and 99.7 so that causes lots of interference. I wouldn't know why 107.5 would have issues unless you are close to twin rivers dr.
