How close are we to the WTMT 105.9 move-in Asheville? Anyone know? Antisipation is a bear!

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D I bet they will use an OMNIA processor and it will not crank at all!

This move-in got lumped into the 96.5 mess. The Wilsyr group, who has protested everything even slightly related to 96.5 in the past few years, has objected to this too. Who knows when it'll be resolved and finally move. All I know is, I'd love to have the legal fees that have been spent on this mess.

It's still on the air up here in my market, being LMA'd by a local college. I'll be glad when it's gone and off the air, so the not-for-profit college will finally quit undercutting me by selling "underwriting" cheaper than I can dream of selling advertising. Then again, my advertising actually works, so it's pretty easy to compete. ;D

Thanks Broker! I know that at the new studios on Patton Ave. that they have a sign that has a empty spot fot whatever! Get them out of your hair and get them moved south!

You know, I've been hearing about their new facilities for a while now. I know they are on Patton Avenue, but I'm not sure where exactly. Can you give me the scoop, fmradionuts?

I'll give you what I know. They have moved into the old "McGuffey's Westside grill" building which is south of the NC 63/US 19-23 intersection. They place looks nice and gives them public exposure that they didn't have on Lookout Rd. I hope to "nose" around the next time I am in the area, heck- I might even bring the camera!! Might have to catch "Uncle Chucky" on his shift! ;D

So, what remains at 90 Lookout Rd? The AM (WISE) towers and transmitter I'm sure...did WISE's other operations(studios, sales, etc) remain or did they also move to Patton Ave?

MediaTech...I thought you had fallen off the face of the earth! You didn't return my call last time I called...you don't love me anymore ;D

Sounds like operator error to me! If a tech knows what he (or she in the case of MediaTech, just kidding) is doing then virtuqally any processor can be adjusted to "crank". ESPECIALLY when you cover it in cheese!

fmradionuts,

whats wrong with Omnia Audio Processing?????????????????
Not a thing!!! Just whoever at WOXL has it set to "wimpy mode" Omnias are a very good processor. Check out 103.3 WOLT (When they aren't yakking) and WNCW 88.7-(Omnia 6)- Both are proof that they can crank. WNCW's HD-1 processed with it sounds amazing. Sorry for the confusion. ;)

Grab a listen to WMIT either FM or HD when their playin music. Let me know what you think.

Okay now for the housekeepin'

Broker: You know you haven't called me in months. But feel free to.

Tinkey: you have an excuse because your busy, however I haven't heard from either one of you and my FOUR phone numbers haven't change.

I still love you guys.

Soapbox crushed from exhaustion

Meadiatech: I think WMIT FM and HD sound very good! The HD-2 sounds good but I can't understand them! When WMIT plays contempary music they crank....kinda funny to say gospel music "cranks" but you can tell with the newer music they play! ;D

I miss the days when they did Christian elevator music. However, I still have WYFQ and WHPE, and if one tunes in at the right time, WMUU is in the same area with WMIT.
