105.9 - Translator in Hazlehurst - Country to Classic Hits

You can find them on facebook at 105.9 The Sting. The station sounds cheap and is a classic hits format (pop not rock leaning). 250 watts. Contours suggest it cannot be heard in Vidalia but it can. You can get it along and south of 280 from Alamo to Lyons. Station is out of Hazlehurst

If it is really a translator it has to rebroadcast the signal of a full power station. ?????

Yeah, an HD station. There are a few translators around here that may or may not be on HD substations but I know for a fact they are not rebroadcasted from another FM signal. 97.1 out of Swainsboro is a perfect example. As I write this, I wonder if 105.9 has an AM station which might be what they are rebroadcasting. I would have to check.
