I was curious if anyone heard anything about the River. I remember reading in the paper a few weeks ago they planned to add an airstaff, local news, weather, etc. and I was curious if anyone had any thoughts as to when this may happen (I'm betting around the turn of the year). So far I like the variety on the station and the lack of new music (I hate current music). Also there liners seem to indicate they will add Christmas to the playlist. Hopefully they follow the former WWDL example and add them gradually over the next few weeks. I love Christmas music, just not all at once.
It's a shame VanderHeyden does not post here anymore. He probably could offer some insight here. I was curious as to why so I looked at his last post and apparently some guy by the code jackfm1 made some derogatory comments about him. I guess this was the last straw. It's a shame he does not come back. It seems everyone has been generally respectful lately and there has been no sign of this jackfm1 since June. (On a related note I looked up all jackfm1's posts and there were only a 4 or 5--all attacking the DUKE..I guess his only reason to come on the board was to attack him).
