As a Florida resident I have been listening to this for the past few weeks and have been impressed. There seems to be much material that was saved over the decades, and the station is doing a good presentation over the air and on the website. Wish we had something like this down here.
I also posted the following in the Aircheck section but wanted to include 1050 CHUM's prime market for anyone interested in a trade.
I am interested in obtaining a copy of The Elvis Presley Story that CHUM produced and aired in 1975. It has already aired once, but will again this evening at 7 PM EST each weeknight for an hour for the next 11 nights.
I'm also looking for current airchecks of the 1050 CHUM while celebrating their 50th anniversary this year. I am most interested in the afternoon and evening shifts.
If anyone can record this successfully through the computer at the high speed stream the quality will be great. In short, without getting into detail, I am not computer savvy and would prefer someone who appreciates radio and has the experience to pull this off. But if that is not possible, I would be grateful for anything.
In return, I will provide the same amount in classic or current airchecks, jingles, local TV recordings (yes, an actual request at one time), etc. Please let me know if you are interested so we can work something out. Thank you.
