1050 ESPN Radio's New Imaging Guy Is...

... the same guy who does the imaging for the national ESPN Radio network, Jim Pastrick! Not sure who the old one was, but he was there for quite awhile.

Does anyone in L.A. or other markets know if this guy is also doing the imaging for other local ESPN Radio stations? Wouldn't surprise me as being yet another cost-cutting move by Citadel.

Hi DtoTheJ,

Not cost cutting. ESPN had been after me to move from 1010WINS to 1050ESPN for a while cause I do the network and the other O&O's.

Why, thank you, sir! I know it's only on for close to 1 1/2 days total of broadcasting per week, but for the effort to be recognized, especially from someone such as yourself is appreciated. (Be sure to check out the other links in my signature... they're just as great as mine, and they're 24/7!)

Hey Jim does that mean you are no longer the voice of WINS?.....If so do you know who is going to be the new voice? (I haven't checked 1010 lately)......Also who was the old voice of WEPN?....He was on the station for along time, way back to the Brian James days....Best of luck to you at WEPN.

Hi GSP,

Yes, leaving WINS. I'm so tied with ESPN I had to do it and it was a decision years in the making. This was REALLY hard for me cause I've been there for 10+ years and without a doubt they are nicest and best people in broadcasting. I do a lot of stations but the WINS folks are really top shelf human beings, not just broadcasters. Don't know who it will be at WINS but they called asking for another week to get the new person on all their stuff. Regarding 1050espn: The fella who was on is Doc Morgan. ESPN had been asking me for years and this was a real conflict for me 'cause both ESPN and WINS are longtime friends and clients. Oy. I'll always be tight with the WINS people cause they rock. I like to DO instead of talk about what's coming, but I'm having a blast with the 1050 people. We started by bringing the age of the image voice down from sounding 60 to where it is now. Much to do. MUCH to do. Thanks for the good wishes. :)

Jim
