The Reach FM, operator of W292CF/Dover, is running on-air announcements they are moving from 106.3 to 106.7 as of 12noon on Monday, 4/16/12. Any ideas why?

If I remember correctly from my days of working in Dover, this translator got hit pretty hard by Ocean City to the east and Cambridge to the west.

Yes, that was definitely it! 106.3 WFNE is now loud and clear in Dover!

I'm curious- did WFNE contact the operator of the translator directly or file any complaints against the translator for interference, that you're aware of?

Translators have NO protection from interference from full power commercial OR no-com licensed stations. They take priority for service and improvements. Then LPFMs. If a full power station can improve, and it means a translator must move or go dark to do it, FCC says so be it. This was a win-win.
