106.3 Pirate Bridgeport

Thursday I took an Amtrak train from Berlin, CT to Philly. I took my Walkman. While in Bridgeport I picked up a station on 106.3 that was doing a Caribbean Prasie and Gospel format. The Gospel music had a Caribbean sound to it and the host (pastor?) had a Caribbean accent. Just got home this afternoon and see the only licensed operations on 106.3 are a LPFM station belonging to a Church in Avon, CT and WWCO AM 1240's translator in Waterbury. So this was definitely a pirate.

I also heard that pirate too when I was recording a bandscan just yesterday in Bridgeport, actually assumed it was WFME 106.3 Mt. Kisco, NY but I knew the reception is too clear to be true. Yeah the pastor has a accent as well, unusual in this region unlike the rest of the religious stations here.
