This Afternoon KAGM was playing Classic Country and Liners that said Real Country 106.3 The Range!

Ho hum. Not much to be said for innovative programming/imaging ideas at AGM after they lost out on Smooth Jazz to CC. Univision could offer AGM a few pointers from when they dropped the Range for Recuerdo. Then again AGM's Sol 106.7 sounds a lot like a Recuerdo wannabe.

AGM's Range sounds Horrible compared to what KKRG was.
As for Radio Lobo they had a horrible August Trend which followed an excellent July so the AGM
Brass better pray for some kind hispanic weighting or look for a third down book in a row!

It is the worst Recuerdo copy on the planet. Just awful.

Mega did not compete with Lobo any more than KKOB competes with Kiss.

Maybe AGM thinks the Range is the $$$ answer to the Talker, but they should take note:

"never count your money while you're sittin' at the table."

I wonder how long it will take them to put up a website for the Range? When they do I bet it will probably look like something you find on the floor of a rodeo: bulls@#$t.

106.3 "The Range" could soon be known as "The Mange" (Woof!)
Sol 106.7 "La estacion que te hace recordar" = "La estacion que te hace vomitar" (The station that brings back memories. = The station that makes you upchuck.)

Anybody miss making fun of "The New Talk FM"? Keep us laughing and scratching AGM.

Prediction due to trademark reasons the Range may have to change it's name....stay tuned.....Can Locals remember Fred changing to ED and The Beat changing to The Bee
both were due to TM problems. The senario could be just like the others let them pay for logos marketing etc and then send them the letter from the lawyer.

In most cases, Univision has been able to win against just about everyone - but KJFA is still far behind "Lobo." I have to think AGM feels they can win the Oldies battle too with Univision.

In most cases, Univision has been able to win against just about everyone - but KJFA is still far behind "Lobo." I have to think AGM feels they can win the Oldies battle too with Univision.

Jefa is a class A FM, while Lobo is a C. El Sol has been on for qute a while, and never had ratings above about a .6 to 1.0 range. I think they just do not know what else to do.
