106.3 WHCY-FM Blairstown

Z100 should simulcast on 106.3 WHCY-FM in Blairstown, they'll have Elvis Duran in the morning for those who commute from Sussex & Warren Counties and once they enter Route 23 in West Milford, they can switch back on to Z100 and still have their morning show and their music. The other stations in the Sussex Market are fine. 106.3 has been a trainwreck they have satlelite Adult CHR music. They did have Elvis Duran once before, I know they're under a trust with CC but they should consider staying with CC as well as the other Sussex County stations which the rest of them should stay as is.

They already tried that and had Elvis and Z-100 on all last year. Where have you been? The currrent CC format max1063 is working out fine for them at the moment. If you got $$$ you can buy it :)

I'd rather not buy any radio station ever. That's really really expensive. ;D Their signal needs to be improved heavily. They barely have good signal in Sussex County as do the other Sussex Market stations.

You must have a cheap radio. WHCY has a great signal in all of Northwest NJ as well as. in Sussex along with WSUS and WNNJ. ;D

I remember the days where I would pick up WSUS, WWNJ, and WHCY on I-380 heading to Scranton and picking up both NYC & Philly stations at camelback.

What is going on with that station? Are there any buyers? What do you think or know will happen with the station? It seems to be an Adult CHR format as of right now that's heavily automated.
