106.5 Kiss FM applies for power boost

W293AH 106.5 Kiss FM Huntsville has applied to increase power from 150 watts to 250 watts as well as increase tower height from 389 m HAAT to 482 m HAAT. Its still directional, not to impede on WSKZ in Chattanooga, but if granted (and I don't see anything that would prevent that) this will significantly improve the signal in almost all the county areas where the signal currently has trouble. It will also allow the signal to reach Athens & Decatur better too. The most accurate map for the application can be seen at recnet.com if anyone is interested. The map at the fcc website shows a nondirectional pattern for some reason.
