106.5 off air lastnight

The Coyote was off the air lastnight. I put the radio on a little after 10:30. I heard another 106.5 was coming in with some static it was WSFL from New Bern, North Carolina. As for The Coyote nothing new from them going off the air. I think Gator 107.9 should make a new commerical saying something like "Were Always On, You Will Never Hear Static"

Last night was Sunday night; If a station needs to do work on transmitter/antenna systems and the RF power has to go off then Sunday night is often considered the best time, it beats the middle of the day. As for slogans you can go Gator huntin ie: If one station says something remember their not the only one on the air.

Is The Coyote pretty new, only a few years old?
I only ask because growing up in Fayetteville, 106.5 was ALWAYS WSFL out of New Bern. Then we moved away.
Now we moved back, and there's been several days the last few months that The Coyote comes in like a local in certain spots around town....

I also would never make fun of their being off-air, maybe their personalities or their imaging or something that's more "controllable."
