Is supposed to debut it's new format tomorrow. Anybody have any idea what Staradio is putting on down here? With a name like the X...I am assuming some sort of modern rock? ???
Dang it.....looks like country....ANOTHER country station :sfradio2 said:maybe a active rock station, like the old zone
Well....thats a safe name...that way you can go in a few directions with it....like you can go X treme country...etc. I hope its just a misleading tactic....you would think someone wouldn't put country and pictures of country artists on a web page for a new station that the format is so "hush-hush" on.sfradio2 said:awww that sucks, what kind of name is "the x" for a country station?
No it was dark....there was no 106.5. They just built the tower for it.sfradio2 said:yeah, it might just be a smokescreen, was 106.5 country before?
I haven't seen coverage maps yet....but it can't be THAT great. I get tons of static and in and outs....close to Kankakee county too.Philip J. They're not exactly in direct competition with 101.7 River Country, but I'm guessing a portion of listeners will jump from River to X.
