What is the staus of 106.7 was their tower down? Any plans on getting them back on air soon?

Actually, the tower is still up, but the transmitter building went CRASH! when a tree went through it.

Last I heard in early September, it would be a month until they got back on. So, maybe they'll be back soon.

The studios are fine, but they might be hiring. I know Jace Edwards has turned in his resignation, and Wolfgang is currently in Birmingham doing part-time on a sister station. Don't know anything about anyone else.<P ID="signature">______________

Nice to hear it survived. I was part of the crew that put it up, all 960 feet of it. The transmitter building was less sturdy, but 20 feet up on big telephone pole stilts. Not tall enough, I guess.

Dude, where do you get your information? Resign? Jace didn't resign! Are you kidding, I was fired with a year left on my contract! Citadel New Orleans didn't feel it was worthwhile to keep me on even though we had an agreement.

Thanks to the GM I was axed!

First we were told that we were to be paid through October when a decision was to be made and that the company had a fund to help people after the cutoff date of October 1st. Then after the decision was made we were told there was no fund. Again loyalty pays off!

Good luck to you all and I hope New Orleans will be built up again, I loved that city and regret not being able to be a part of it.


Resigned... sh!t they had to drag me kicking and screaming out the door!
