106.7 The Wave???

sorry that was a teaser. Anyways, this would be a good format to bring back to 106.7. I really can't take Z106 anymore. It would be nice for contemporary jazz and soul to come back to San Antonio.

Not really familar with 106.7 down in SA. I get KXPW 106.7 very well at my house which plays christian rock music.

I seriously doubt any radio company would bring Jazz back to S.A.

As for Z106.7, they're much quicker with the new music.

Yes and it was a great station. I especially loved the sounds of brazil that aired on saturday nights. It brought out the classy aspects of San Antonio (money is not a requirement to be classy by the way)which there is barely any on the airwaves if you keep hearing the stuff Mix and Z plays; degrating songs that our kids are listening to. Yes the station killed David Munoz's jazz show on 101.9 to just sunday mornings, but he would make a good asset to a contemporary jazz station here, instead of just doing 2 four hour shows which is not enough. Go to La cantera, they're not playing "my humps," it's mostly jazz. This format has potential here in SA.
