106.9/107.5 DELAY

Hey.

Do not know exactly why, but there is a slight time delay between
the two stations. I think 106.9 is getting the program first. I think the
audio is better/brighter on 106.9 also.

The 106.9 audio is about 1/3 second ahead of 107.5, probably simply due to differences in the digital STL chains.

You are right, 106.9 sounds better; I always thought the audio was quite good in The Point days--but it didn't sound as good when it became The Zone. Don't know if 106.9 is on the original 1998 transmitter at the Splendora site. I seem to recall the 107.5 transmitters were updated when HD was launched at the end of 2004, which resulted in an audible improvement over the old setup.
