106.9 God's Country?

Can anyone help me ID a station I heard at 20:21 CST in St. Charles, MO at 106.9FM - the format was southern gospel and I heard a couple of liners for 106.9 God's Country. Couldn't find any answers with Radio-Locator or Google. A translator or LPFM perhaps?

Can anyone tell me what is on W295AH 106.9 in Chatham (Springfield), IL - I think this could possibly be the station - a minor change was approved back in January, so that could account for why it isn't on their website, perhaps.

That would be quite a catch from Chatham, IL to St. Charles, MO - 73 miles - with either power/antenna configuration. What are/were you using for a receiving setup?

A Sangean HD-T1 Tuner, with a homemade J-Pole at approx. 60ft at an elevation of about 900ft. The Sangean is an awesome DX tuner for the money! They can be found online for less than $100, and not only is it a super sensitive FM Tuner, but it also has HD-Radio, RDS, and AM Stereo. Since I hooked it up to the J-Pole last week, I've been consistently pulling in a couple of Class As that are 60+ Miles away with regularity, as well as picking up most of the big sticks from Central IL, Central MO, and Hannibal/Quincy, IL.

I agree that the HDT-1 is a hot FM DX machine. I also have this tuner and hope to use it soon. (Right now Febuary and March are the worst time for FM DX at my location.) I recently moved from a bad place to a much better one; when I mean bad place, I meant where there was poor FM reception.

I also have the little Sony HD tuner; I like its AM performance better, but I like the Sangean's display and RDS better. I find that the XDR-F1HD may actually be a good AM DX machine as well.

Could it have been KOJY from Bloomfield, IA, south central Iowa? It's not a strong signal from what I've seen, but "God's Country" sounds about right for that station...that would be a catch.
