Well they put out an effective radiated power of 82kw. The 106.9 tower is on Mt. Beacon where KDFC and KLLC are located. I get 106.9 all the way to Davis and if you are fairly high up North of Sac you get 106.9 also ...I am sure the transmitter needs work. Hopefully Infinity has upgraded the processor etc.

Crappy in SF, are you joking?
82kW on Mt. Beacon (just north of the Golden Gate bridge) should be allowing you to hear 106.9 on your coat hangers.
Replace your radio.
I'm not in the listening area so I haven't heard it, but are you sure you're not talking about audio processing?
______________
If you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything...

If you have XM or Sirus they interfear with FM bands (some models) make sure and turn off you xm/sirus and it will help ALOT.

Oh my god!!!! do we have to learn radio engineering 101???? all you have to do is turn off the FM transmitter on the sat. receiver. and as long as you don't have your sat. tuned to 106.9 fm you is alright, sat. receiver's are best tuned to 90.5, 89.9 freq. since they are the least used freq. and learn how to spell SIRIUS, back down from my soapbox.
