1060 or 1210 should air 60 Minutes every Sunday

I would like 1210 WPHT or KYW NewsRadio to consider airing 60 minutes, every Sunday.

Didn't (or maybe doesn't) KYW broadcast Face The Nation late night Sundays? I could have sworn I've heard Bob Schieffer a few times.
I actually enjoy hearing a show like that as opposed to the same news I've heard repeating all day. It has actual content/interviews.
So, while we're fantasizing about what different programming we'd like to hear on KYW, don't think I'd go for 60 Minutes but I'd like to stay with Face the Nation.
... and I'm sure the folks at KYW and CBS are listening intently to us rant here...

Aren't these shows on TV every Sunday? Is the idea here that they should be on radio for those people who don't have a TV? If that's the case, instead of pre-recorded news during the overnight period, maybe KYW should run Letterman. Heck, why bother with radio news: Just put Eyewitless News on a continous loop (with teletype noise added for radio).

Oh, don't get me wrong, I'd like local programming on Philly's news station, but failing that, something like Face the Nation is fine.
Yes, it's on TV, but it's not necessarily what I'd sit down to watch. But, if I'm finishing up a 2nd shift on a Sunday (ugh) and driving home, I'd rather hear that than the looped news that is run all day long.

That actually happened for awhile in New York: The old 102.7 WNEW-FM - back in their ill-fated "Blink" era, and for a few weeks after its much-welcomed demise - ran a simulcast of Letterman every night at 11:35 PM.

And on the occasional Sunday night that the Yankees are playing, you may need to settle for only 30 of "60."

Didn't WYSP air the Dave simulcast for awhile too?

1210 DID simulcast "60 Minutes" back when it blew up oldies for talk again. It disappeared about as quick as the WPTS call sign.

Can you not get 880? Especially this time of year? WCBS-AM simulcasts 60 Minutes every Sunday.

So does WBZ--and it's third-adjacent to KYW; on some radios, you just have to punch the down button three times. Farther from Phiily than WCBS--certainly; but 'BZ's skywave signal from close to 300 miles away is likely to be more fade-free than WCBS's signal from around 100 miles away. At 100 miles, especially with part of the path over salt water, you get a mixture of skywave and groundwave, which can be less than super listener friendly.

I thought so, during the early Free-FM days.

But I also thought it was just the first segment, not the entire show.

WDEL offers both Face the Nation and 60 minutes as podcasts on their website. WDEL does broadcast Face the Nation each Sunday afternoon, but does not air 60 minutes. Julius the address is: www.wdel.com. Click on podcasts.
