I'll bet you also didn't know that he's selling brokered time in Spanish for $50.00 an hour.

I don't know who's worse, Maduri or Persaud from Rama Communications.

What a pitiful market we live in!!!
 
Let's see ... $50 x 24-hours x 365 days = $438,000/year. Pay a couple of board ops $10/hour ($41,600 a year in payroll) and the power bill, satellite fees, minimal maintenance and you could clean up easily.
 
I just plugged in www.newstalk1060.com in my browser and got this

So how come Liz goes on vacation and you get this when you go to the radio stations website?
I don't understand this... can anyone explain this to me?

Yea another post on this site. There are more posts than listeners for the station. Is this a record for Radio-info in terms of number of posts?
 
While this thread has more posts than most threads; I think the current record is "and the Stiffs just keep on coming" on the Buffalo/Niagara/Rochester board; as of this morning (13 June 2010) 146 pages as opposed to the 49 pages of this thread.

Tell me, how could you get them better ratings without spending a single dollar to do so? What would you put on the air besides third-rate talk shows rejected by the other two talk format stations? ESPN did better for them than the crap they have on now.
 
BTW, anyone know why I'm hearing the ESPN tags on WIXC these days? Heard it this evening, with a baseball game on the air. Are they returning to their ESPN format? I thought Cumulus had ESPN locked up in Brevard with 1560AM...

I think they are carrying Sunday Night Baseball from ESPN and maybe the World Series
1560 and as of now 95.9 also have Baseball from ESPN but rumors (unconfirmed) are out that Cumulus is about to be sold and that format changes will come soon (Maybe)
