1060 WIXC

Hello everyone. I was flipping through the radio today and heard classic rock on 1060. I thought this station was simulcasting WTMP 96.1. Any updates on this station? I like it though.
 
You guys may want to listen to 1060 a lot more. It's a simulcast of 840 wpgs. I'm loving this channel!!!!!!!! This is what radio should be!!!!!!
 
Interesting station .... i listen in occasionally, sometimes get dead air - not sure i've heard a commercial yet. Since 1060 gives them so much more reach, I assume they'll try to do more with the station.
 
Still with dead air. :( Anyone know what is up with this station? I wonder if someone else bought it or something?
 
Sitting at a stop light this evening at 6:15pm - flipped my AM to 1060 ... DX was prime, heard KYW - Newsradio 1060, Philadelphia .
 
Looks like 1060 is back running 840 WPGS. I really enjoy this station!!!!
 
Did not hear this station down in Palm Bay when I was there a few weeks ago but can now hear it in Altamonte but not well. I'm guessing they are a talk station now. At least that's what I heard on there yesterday for a few minutes.
 
Driving back thru North Brevard tonite - 840 WPGS is playing their classic rock essemble, and 1060 WIXC is now simulcasting the BIG 8 out of Tampa (top of hour included WIXC). In the evening they're running CBS Sports - but check out the website. So, I guess Brevard now has the new home of Bubba the Love Sponge.

I think the reason for the "classic rock" from WPGS 840 Mims/Titusville on WIXC 1060 Titusville vanishing: Genesis Communications (in Tampa; who owns-operates WHBO 1040 and WWBA 820 as "News Talk Florida") has the station up for sale (can't find that post, sorry). The brokering site I found it on, the listing is not there any longer. (So, take that meaning as you will.) But I had someone tell me at that WIXC was "on the block," as well. The last time I tuned in, it was dead air, again. Is it still dead air, or has anyone heard any programming?

WWBA runs (did/does) the Bubba the Love Sponge Morning Show and most CBS Sports shows. WHBO is Westwood One and CBS Sports programs. I am not seeing any local, brokered shows. So a mix of both run on WIXC, now. The station doesn't stream and is not mentioned on the "News Talk Florida" site.

All the live Saturday jocks on WPGS were wiped from the site, not sure if that is related to the WIXC simulcast, ending. Recently, Fox's Dan Bongino runs an hour, twice a day, M - F, in the afternoons, on WPGS.
 
Sunday evening noticed WPGS was playing the "DoWop" show, while 1060 WIXC appeared to have Tampa's BIG-8 simulcast (running Fox Sports on Sunday evening).
 
WIXC - Sports talk 1060 - is currently running Fox Sports Radio.

WPGS (840-Mims) seems to be running a bilingual Spanish English Contemporary Christian format lately

87.7 MHz occasionally heard with Kriyol programming....
