107.1 Danamora - where art thou?

Maybe I missed it in some other thread... WNMR seems to be dark (again, so surprise, really) - did this coincide witht the big sports station merry-go-round that happened in BTV a few months ago?

Joe

Rumor is they had no money and their Sales Manager moved out of town quickly after some questionable business practices. They're off the air and it doesn't look like they are coming back. The sports scene still seems to be a one-player deal with 101.3. The 1390 is pretty much a joke with no local programming or effort put in at all and pretty much Fox Sports network 24/7.

Good work, Russ. That's precisely what 107.1 is. Imagine how much better this Green Mountain Music would do if the signal was actually listenable in the Green Mountain State.

I mean, it gets jammed by WORK at the 89 cloverleaf in South Burlington. Two groups since Corm and Co. have failed to realize this. Unreal.

... and we need another rock station like, ummm, we need another foot of water in lake Champlain...

Oops, I stand corrected, they are playing a smooth jazz tune.. ahh, stunting perhaps - who knows ???
