107.1 The Monkey (CHR station WXYK-FM GULFPORT-BILOXI, MISSISSIPPI)

I probable discuss this before in other chat room, But I think WXYK 107.1 The Monkey need to upgrade there signal at less 50,000 watts (with a directional antenna away from George County because of there station at WRBE 106.9 FM) at the same location of the towers in Gulfport to give whole lot better coverage in the metro area included counties of Hancock, Harrison, Jackson, Pearl River, and Stone. They will get better ratings they upgrade signal!
 
As I mentioned on the MS board, it would be very hard to do with 107.1 Hattiesburg to the north and also a 107.1 to the west in Hammond, LA, as well as short-spacing with 107.3 Pensacola to the east. Maybe there is a way to up the power, but unless an engineer can state otherwise, I can't see it going 50K watts.
