Entercom is foolish to not take them on, and their GM is a gold mine for experience.

I am surprised with their new GM who got JAMZ to where it is that it hasn't happened. Your idea in another thread of merging 101.1 and 93.3 into one rock station would give them a signal to do so. And with both of those stations struggling (outside of mornings, at least), it couldn't hurt.
 
a true kiss for wjmz in "jamuary" agree with carolinaradio foolish for someone not to take them on even with a hybrid format, but would need an aggressive local sales staff tough sell nationally even with numbers
 
The idea behind Hot was always to be "urban enough" to keep anybody from trying to compete with Jamz, but with Hot making adjustments to a more mainstream format, there's even more room for competition, but like you said it's a pretty tough thing to get off the ground.

Entercom has several underperforming stations...
